EX Raids are the game’s special, invite-only raids offering exclusive access to certain Pokémon many months before they are available to the wider player-base. Raids occur at specific gyms, at a specific date and time.
Can ex raids be done remotely?
Trainers, the last EX Raid Boss, Regigigas, left us in March 2020. Well, now it is the perfect time for Niantic to bring back the EX Raid Bosses and Mythical Pokemon in the game. Recently, we got the new feature Remote Raid, which allows players to join any Raid Battle from the comfort of their home.
Can you share ex raid passes?
When you receive an EX Raid Pass, there will be an option to invite a friend. Tap on Invite. Select one friend to invite to your EX Raid. You can only invite friends that you have reached the Ultra Friends or Best Friends Friendship level with.
How do ex raid passes work?
EX Raid Passes can only be used at the indicated Gym and time on the invitation. To increase your chances of receiving an EX Raid Pass: Join more Raid Battles. The more Raid Battles you successfully complete, the greater your chances to receive an EX Raid Pass.
Can you beat a 5 star raid by yourself Pokemon go?
If you see a level five raid but you don’t have at least a few other players to tackle it with, forget it. These raids can range from around 30,000 boss CP to 50,000, and you will not be able to complete them solo.
Where do ex raids happen?
EX raids are special invitation-only raids that happen at EX gyms. The gym will have a little label by its name noting that it’s an EX gym. If you complete a raid at an EX gym, you have a chance to be invited back to catch a very rare Legendary Pokémon, like Deoxys.
Are ex raids still a thing?
Pokémon GO’s EX Raids were discontinued in Spring 2020 as a response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Previously, EX Raids were invite-only raids that were earned by trainers who raided at EX-capable gyms.
Can you join ex raid without pass?
